Our daughter says she’s moving in with her boyfriend at the end of the month. But they don’t have an apartment yet. From the way she was talking about it, I thought they had one that was available on the 1st. She said he’s still looking for one. She hasn’t even told us his last name yet. We have people looking out for her for us, making sure she’s safe. They’ve told us that this guy seems down-to-earth. I hope he’s good for her. She told us yesterday that she has a plan, as follows: go to school, take Grade 12 courses, take a few courses for Grades 10 and 11 that she’s missed after school, hand out resumes. While living with her boyfriend in some apartment that they haven’t gotten yet. He’s on welfare. Which is all right. I’m not sure if she’ll just get added to his cheque or what’s gonna happen with their money situation. How are they going to eat? They said at the Mission in town that they can go their for meals, and they have lunch every day at the Peer Support Centre for $1. Where else can you get lunch for $1? They also have laundry facilities there for free, soap provided. I really hope things for out for them, soon. I’ve been told not to worry about it, but how can I not worry?
