Less-than-happy Thanksgiving

I’m not feeling the best tonight. My mother-in-law was invited out for Thanksgiving Dinner tomorrow, so we were going to have our Thanksgiving Dinner together today. But she isn’t feeling well, so she didn’t stay home for dinner. Our daughter was supposed to be here for dinner too, but she showed up an hour late, grabbed some leftovers to take home, then left. It was an extremely lonely dinner, just like every other day. I thought it would be different today.
